As an early childhood program Director or owner, your role can sometimes be a juggling act. To be successful, you must be efficient, resourceful, and professional with staff, parents, board members, and your community. Using software designed specifically for early childhood program operations, communications, and engagement can help you manage your work and support the teachers’ work as well. This session, presented by early childhood technology and marketing expert, Fran Simon, will help you become a fearless consumer of software.
Because the number of technology products designed specifically to meet the demands of early childhood administrators has exploded in the past 10 years, the process of selecting the right tools has become complicated, and navigating the options can be challenging. Knowing how to develop systems for selecting and a little bit about the products themselves will make you an informed consumer. Whether you currently use software specifically intended to support early childhood programs or not, this presentation will cover products that you may not have discovered.
Join this session to learn about the available technology products and plan for the process of intentionally selecting the best matches.
In this information-packed session, Fran will:
- highlight a few of the findings from her recent survey of 2,800 early childhood software users;
- outline the available free and fee- based products;
- provide ideas about how to assess and compare products;
- recommend how to get started make the most of your budget.
There’s an app for that… and that… and even that, but you need to be an educated consumer to navigate the options. Join us to become an intrepid technology navigator so you can work smarter for the staff, children, and families in your program.
