Plants offer amazing opportunities for children to connect with nature, learn concepts and practice skills in every domain. From selecting and establishing new plants, to nurturing existing plants in your space, children can be included every step of the way. In this webinar you will learn a few basics about planting in early ed spaces and:
- the importance of plants in spaces for children
- strategies for improving the success of plant material in children’s outdoor environments
- identify considerations for selecting plant material that will grow in your program’s environment
