Join Kristen Peterson, host of the popular podcast The Play Based Podcast on Learning Wild to explore the possibilities that podcasts present for consultants, speakers and advocates. Kristen, the director of a nature preschool, specializes in play, and used her podcast and blog to help early childhood educators make the shift from teacher directed learning to play based learning using her Learning Wild Method. Join this inspiring webinar to hear insights about how podcasting helped her provide support for the profession, while also creating more opportunities for consulting, speaking, and other income-generating opportunities.
Kristen got her start in podcasting with Jeff A. Johnson’s podcast studio, Upstairs Studio, five years ago with a podcast called Q&A with T&K. With over 100 episodes over a two year time period, Kristen and cohost Tiffany discussed questions from listeners about play based learning. To better build her brand and gain more opportunities in supporting the early learning profession, Kristen launched her own podcast in August of 2020 called The Play Based Learning Podcast. The content she creates for the podcast is often inspired by listeners, early learning professionals and parents that reach out looking for answers to questions about play based learning and early childhood education. With 7,000 downloads over 17 episodes, Kristen is reaching people across the globe!
