McCormick Center for Early Childhood Leadership
As the director or administrator of an early childhood program facing the unique challenges 21st century program management, it is important to be able to gather informal and formal information you can use to measure, monitor, and improve your program’s quality. The options are vast and dispersed, so locating the best resources can be overwhelming. This webinar will help you learn how to locate and assess the best books, ready-to-use assessment tools, organizations, and other resources to improve your program’s management and classroom practices.
Many directors were promoted to their leadership role because they were outstanding teachers. Yet, being an effective director requires a different skill set than being an exceptional teacher. Without specialized management training, you may find it difficult to locate the resources you need to improve your program’s practices. This session will provide you with a wide range of practical leadership and management resources you can assess and use to improve your organization’s effectiveness.
All sessions are 1.5 hours long, and include a brief announcement from our sponsor.
2:oo PM – 3:30 PM Eastern Time.
