Covid-19 has accelerated the growing trend of remote learning leveraging all kinds of digital platforms, from spontaneous live streams in social media to structured courses via highly sophisticated Learning Management Systems. Regardless of whether you deliver live online sessions or pre-recorded and structured courses, being effective without the usual give and take of an in-person experience is a challenge. How can you be an effective presenter when you don’t have the benefit of reading the immediate reactions of a live and physically present audience? How can you ensure they are engaged?
Speaking to an audience in person is quite different from speaking online. When you are in front of an audience there’s an energy exchange that is quite palpable. You can sense if your intended message is coming through. You know you are taking your audience on a journey and you want to make sure they are coming along for the ride. For most of us who deliver formal professional development, COVID-19 has forced us to quickly transition to working with clients online, and the journey has been bumpy. Join us to learn to smooth out the bumps and master online presentation skills.
This webinar, presented by executive and leadership coach, Cecy Shveid, and Non-Profit executive, Claudia Hermann will teach you the fundamental principles of effective remote teaching/speaking so you can captivate your audience and become a powerful presenter whose content is followed, shared and recommended. We will share with you practical and easy to apply hacks that work wonders to maintain your audience active, engaged and coming back for more.
1. How the medium influences the experience of learning/listening.
2. How to drive audience attention and interaction when speaking remotely.
3. How to help people learn, integrate, and apply your teaching more effectively.
4. How you can convey a positive and inviting posture, body language and voice as a virtual presenter.
All sessions are 1.5 hours long, and include a brief announcement from our sponsor.
