Science explorations in early childhood programs are sometimes just happy accidents, which is always great. But because science helps children learn how to learn, it’s too important to just let it happen. Join this exciting webinar by two experienced early childhood science experts, Tara Henderson and Victoria Roanhorse, to build your confidence in understanding STEM as an essential part of early learning. The webinar , which is an abbreviated version of a preconference session at the 2020 NMAEYC Conference will dig the concepts of “science capital” and family science “habitus” for engaging families in STEM learning. Join us to get your science swag on and get a taste of what is in store at NMAEYC 2002!

All sessions are 1.5 hours long, and include a brief announcement from our sponsor.
