It’s safe to say we all want our programs’ outdoor spaces to be inclusive and welcoming. Creating nature-based curriculum and programs that center diverse cultural perspectives can be challenging but is necessary for transforming outdoor spaces into inclusive places.
This webinar, presented by early childhood culture and nature expert, Ashley Brailsford, Ph.D., will provide an overview of 7 strategies for how to create culturally centered nature-based curriculum and programs. You will learn about a multicultural curriculum approach through which you can develop your program and evaluate your own programming. Then, we’ll review tools such as multicultural literature, interviews and the creative arts that can help transform your curriculum and programs and improve engagement of young children and families in nature education.
Join this awe-inspiring webinar to learn:
- List 7 strategies to create culturally-centered programs or curriculum
