Lauren Small is the owner and founder of Early Education Business Consultants, LLC (EEBC). EEBC specializes in consulting, teaching, and coaching early childhood leaders on how strong business practices form the foundation for achieving quality in early childhood education.
In addition to delivering industry-specific business management training and personalized coaching, EEBC is a recognized leader in shared services consulting and management, supporting states in strategies to streamline child care operations and strengthen the infrastructure of early childhood business systems.
With 35 years of experience as an entrepreneur educator, Lauren collaborates with community organizations to equip directors and owners with the tools needed to operate financially sound, sustainable programs. She holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration from Old Dominion University in Norfolk, Virginia. She speaks regularly at early childhood conferences nationwide about the importance of sound child care business practices.
