1. Does my state accept Early Childhood Investigations’ certificates?
At this time we do not know which organizations accept our certificates, (although many do). You will need to check with your organization directly to find out. Some organizations accept our certificates but require that you watch the live webinar and submit the follow-up email stating you attended the session. Other organizations may accept certificates from watching the recording if you submit the Reflection Form in addition to your certificate.
2. Can we watch as a group for our staff meeting? How do we get a certificate for each person?
Yes, you can watch as a group. Each participant should submit their own Registration Form for each webinar.
- Watching Live Webinars as a Group – In order to receive a personalized certificate, each participant will need to click on the link sent to their email address to login to the live webinar. This means that only the participants who are logged in (by clicking on the link sent to their email) will receive a personalized certificate. Anyone who is not logged in (by clicking on the link sent to their email address), will need to write down the link to the blank certificate shown on the screen at the very end of the webinar.
- Watching Recorded Webinars as a Group- Each participant will need to write down the link to the blank certificate shown on the screen at the very end of the recording. Enter the link into your browser (not Google Search), to download the blank certificate.
If all of your teachers need to obtain a personalized certificate they will each need to login using the link sent to their email address.
3. I joined late! What now?
If you are in most of the live webinar from beginning to end, you should expect to receive a personalized certificate emailed to you within 7 days. However, we strongly recommend writing down the link to the blank certificate shown on your screen at the end of the webinar as a back-up.
4. When will I receive my certificate?
- Personalized certificates are emailed to participants within 7 days after the live webinar. Please do not contact us about personalized certificates prior to 7 full days after the live session!
- Blank certificates are your responsibility, we will not email the blank certificate or the link to the blank certificate.
- If you are watching the live webinar, you can click on the link in the “Handouts” pane of your control panel to download the blank certificate. We strongly recommend also writing down the link to the certificate (shown on your screen at the end of the webinar).
- If you are watching the recording, write down the link to your certificate shown at the end of the recording.
5. The webinar ended before I got my certificate, what now?
If you were logged into the webinar (by clicking on the link sent to your email address), from the the very beginning to the end you will qualify for a personalized certificate sent to your email address within 7 days. Please do not contact us about personalized certificates prior to 7 full days after the live session!
- If it has been 7 days and you still have not received your your personalized certificate, please create a free Simplecert account to see all your certificates in one place: Go to Recipient Portal. If you do not see your personalized certificate in your Simplecert account after 7 days, you did not qualify for the personalized certificate and will need to access the blank certificate.
- Go back and watch the recording to capture the link to the blank certificate shown on the screen at the end of the recording. We will not email the blank certificate or the link to the blank certificate.
6. I didn’t get a certificate! What do I do?
- If you attended the live webinar from beginning to end wait 7 days then, create a free Simplecert account to see all your personalized certificates in one place: Go to Recipient Portal. Please do not contact us about personalized certificates prior to 7 full days after the live session!
- If you watched the live webinar and did not click on the link to your blank certificate in the “Handouts” pane of your control panel during the live session, your only option of obtaining the blank certificate is to go back and watch the recording to capture the link tot he blank certificate. We will not email the blank certificate or the link to the blank certificate.
- If you watched the recording, you should have written down the link to the blank certificate at the end of the recording.
- We do not offer personalized certificates to people who watch the recording.
- If you did not capture the link shown on your screen at the end of the recording, you will need to go back and watch the recording again to capture the link. We will not email the blank certificate or the link to the blank certificate.
7. Why does the link to the certificate not work?
Some schools and organizations block shortened links. This means the page will not open if your organization blocks shortened links. If your link does not work, use another device (cellphone/computer) or location to use the link.
